The TA-Modulator valve is a pressure-independent balancing and control valve designed for precise regulation in heating and cooling systems. Its unique EQM characteristic ensures very accurate temperature control, even at low flow rates, which translates to thermal comfort and energy savings. This valve is compatible with both proportional and 3-point actuators, offering flexibility in control system selection.
The TA-Modulator features a built-in differential pressure regulator, which ensures stable operation and automatic limitation of the design flow. Additionally, the ability to measure flow and available differential pressure allows for optimization of the entire system and quick diagnosis of potential problems. The valve is made of high-quality materials – the body and valve insert are made of Ametal®, which guarantees the durability and reliability of the device. It is suitable for use with glycol and its external thread compliant with the BSPP standard facilitates installation in existing systems. The TA-Modulator valve is intended for use in heating and cooling installations with a nominal diameter of DN 32 and a pressure class of PN 16. Its design allows for smooth regulation, pre-setting of the maximum flow and adjustment of the differential pressure. The minimum recommended differential pressure is 23 kPa, and the maximum permissible is 400 kPa. The working length of the valve is 117 mm, and the stroke is 5.5 mm – these parameters should be taken into account when designing the installation. The actuator connection is M30 x 1.5, which facilitates actuator mounting. The valve has measuring ports for monitoring system operating parameters.
