Shut-off and setting valve for heating and CH systems

The STK valve is a reliable solution for precise regulation and complete shut-off of flow in central heating (CH) systems and heating systems. Its construction, based on tapered internal gas threads (BSPT), ensures tightness and ease of installation. This valve, manufactured by IMI TA, is particularly useful where control over the flow of heating medium within individual heat consumers is required.

Functionality and application

The STK valve combines shut-off and regulating functions, making it a versatile element of the installation. Thanks to a Kvs value of 4.5, it allows for precise adjustment of the flow to the needs of a specific consumer. This value determines the valve's performance - the higher the Kvs value, the greater the flow rate for a given pressure drop. The lack of measuring ports simplifies installation and reduces potential leak points. An additional position indicator allows for quick visual control of the valve's status - open or closed.

• domestic hot water circulation installations (although not intended for direct contact with drinking water).

Technical characteristics and construction

The STK valve is characterized by a solid construction and high quality of workmanship. Nickel plating of the surface provides corrosion resistance and extends the life of the device. Pressure class PN 20 guarantees safe operation in typical operating conditions of heating installations. Made of brass, the valve is resistant to the action of agents occurring in heating installations. The inability to connect impulse tubes or measuring ports simplifies its use in standard installations without advanced measurement systems. Control is manual, ensuring independence from electrical power and ease of operation.
