Cable and measurement connector – reliable connection and energy measurement

The ZK-2x-2P cable and measurement connector is a robust solution designed to connect two installations (two meters) in energy distribution systems. The connector design allows power supply both by cutting the cable main line and using a branch box with a single line. This versatile device will find application in residential, commercial construction and modernized installations.

Functionality and safety in one

The connector has been designed with ease of installation and safety in mind. It is equipped with two fuse disconnectors adapted for wires with a cross-section of up to 70 mm², and one of them has an adapter allowing for endless connection of two cables with a cross-section of up to 150 mm². The connection between the disconnectors is made with a solid 25mm² wire, which ensures stability and minimizes the risk of energy losses. The PEN bus made of tinned copper flat bar (40x5 mm) guarantees proper grounding, and the M12 screw hole facilitates the connection of the grounding tape. The whole is enclosed in a housing with a wall thickness of at least 3.5 mm, characterized by high resistance to mechanical damage and a high flammability class V0 – which translates into increased fire safety.

Installation and measurement comfort

The measurement section contains a housing for pre-meter protection (power limiter), a 63-100A isolating switch and a 4x35mm² connection terminal block with Allen screws. The TL-3f meter panel provides convenient meter mounting and reading. Wires with a cross-section of 10mm² guarantee adequate current capacity for measurement needs. The connector has dimensions of 1850 mm high, 530 mm wide and 250 mm deep, allowing it to be adapted to various installation conditions. The IP44 protection class provides resistance to the ingress of solids and splashing water, allowing installation both indoors and in sheltered outdoor locations.
