Cable and measurement connector – a reliable connection point

This cable and measurement connector, designed for connecting a single installation, is a key element in measurement systems. It serves to safely and effectively connect cable lines, both by cutting into the busbar and by directly connecting a single line, using a branch connector. Designed with ENEA standards in mind, it ensures compatibility and easy integration with existing infrastructure.

Functionality and construction

This connector is characterized by a solid construction and thoughtful equipment. In the connector compartment, we find a boxed fuse disconnector 00 with an adapter, which allows for endless connection of two cables with a cross-section of up to 150 mm². The adapter is equipped with "V" type terminals, ensuring a secure connection. The PEN busbar, made of tinned copper flat bar with dimensions of 40x5 mm and bent in the shape of a C, has two "V" type terminals and an M12 hole for connecting the grounding tape. The whole is completed by cable fixing brackets made of plastic.

The measurement compartment contains a housing for building-in pre-meter protection and an isolating disconnector 63-100A. A connection terminal block (4x35mm²) with Allen screws provides convenient connection of wires. Additionally, the set includes a meter panel TL-3f and wires with a cross-section of 10mm².

Safety and durability

The connector housing is made of a material with a wall thickness of at least 3.5 mm and a flammability class of V0 – this guarantees resistance to mechanical damage and high temperature. The IP44 protection class provides protection against the ingress of solid objects larger than 1 mm and splashing water – making it suitable for use both indoors and outdoors (provided additional protection against direct exposure to atmospheric factors is ensured). Height 1850 mm, width 400 mm and depth 250 mm allow for easy installation and integration with existing installations.
