The SSTN 40x58x25 thermoset enclosure is a solid solution for securing and protecting various electrical and electronic devices. Made of high-quality glass fiber reinforced polyester (SMC), it provides exceptional mechanical and thermal resistance, as well as excellent protection against atmospheric factors. This makes it ideal for both outdoor installations and demanding industrial conditions.

Design and application

This enclosure, with dimensions of 400 mm wide, 580 mm high and 250 mm deep, is designed for easy installation and customization. The set includes a lock, hinges and brackets for a sloped roof. Please note that the lock cylinder is not included and requires separate purchase. Before mounting the enclosure to the foundation, it is necessary to unscrew the bottom of the enclosure to ensure proper connection and tightening of the elements. These types of enclosures are often used in photovoltaic systems, railways and telecommunications.

Resistance and safety

The SMC material used is characterized by high temperature resistance (up to 960°C) and has a flammability class V0, guaranteeing safe use even in extreme conditions. The enclosure meets DIN 14598 standards and EU guidelines, confirming its high quality and compliance with applicable standards. Additionally, the glass fiber reinforced polyester provides resistance to corrosion and the action of aggressive chemicals. The possibility of coating with a special polyurethane varnish further protects against UV radiation, increasing the durability of the product.
