External mounting measuring connection

ZNP1 is a measuring connection designed for mounting on poles or building facades, ideal for power connections in the distribution areas of PGE – in the regions of Piotrków Trybunalski, Tomaszów Mazowiecki, Wieluń, Łowicz, Sieradz, Bełchatów and Radomsko. The connection design allows for easy and safe connection of an electricity meter and additional safety devices.

Functionality and application

The connection has been designed with installers and end-users in mind. It has a built-in branch strip 4x2x35mm², which allows you to connect an additional receiver without the need for additional elements. The space inside the housing allows for the installation of an overcurrent switch, a meter (single-phase or three-phase) and a clock/modem. In addition, the connection is equipped with a 4x35mm² strip for introducing the power cable (wlz).

Safety and durability

The connection housing is made of a material with high mechanical and chemical resistance, and its wall thickness (minimum 3.5 mm) ensures strength and durability. The paint coating protects against the harmful effects of UV radiation, which guarantees maintaining aesthetics and properties for a long time. The housing handle has the possibility of being secured with a padlock or MasterKey insert, which increases security against unauthorized access. The connection has a manufacturer's declaration of conformity confirmed by a SEP-BBJ certificate. Flammability class V0 provides a high level of fire safety.

The dimensions of the connection are: depth 250 mm, height 580 mm and width 400 mm.

Protection degree IP44 provides protection against splashing water and solid objects larger than 1mm, allowing for safe use in outdoor conditions. The connection is adapted for mounting home energy meters (eHZ).
