Halogen-free corrugated pipe for electrical installations

Corrugated pipe made of polyamide PA6, designed to protect cables in electrical installations, especially where high fire resistance and minimal emission of toxic substances during combustion are required. It is ideal for industrial installations exposed to operation at elevated temperatures and in places with increased fire safety requirements. Its flexibility makes it easy to route cables in hard-to-reach places.

Properties and application

The pipe is characterized by high mechanical strength and impact resistance, effectively protecting cables from damage. The self-extinguishing material (HB class according to UL94) limits the spread of fire, and the absence of halogen in the composition minimizes the emission of toxic gases during a fire – which is crucial for the safety of people and equipment. Low smoke density during combustion further improves visibility in the event of a hazard. The pipe is resistant to many chemicals, which increases its durability and range of applications. Although not recommended for outdoor use, it works perfectly indoors, in technical rooms, and in industry. It is worth remembering the hygroscopicity of the material – the pipe can absorb moisture from the air.
