Corrugated halogen-free conduit – safety and installation flexibility

The halogen-free corrugated conduit, black, with a strength of 320N, also known as RIL-PA6-HB-P halogen-free duct with a pull cord, is a reliable solution for protecting cables in electrical installations. Made of modified polyamide 6 (PA6), it provides not only mechanical protection for wires but also an increased level of fire safety thanks to its self-extinguishing properties and the absence of halogens in its composition. The version with a pull cord – a steel wire – makes it easier to pull cables over longer distances, significantly speeding up and simplifying installation work.

Properties and application

This conduit is particularly recommended for use in places with increased fire safety requirements and where it is important to limit the emission of toxic substances during combustion. It will be suitable for industrial installations exposed to high temperatures and mechanical loads. Although it is not recommended for direct outdoor mounting, it perfectly protects cables inside buildings, plasterboard walls, and on flammable surfaces. Its flexible construction allows for easy adaptation to complex cable routes.

Construction and parameters

The conduit is characterized by low smoke density and low toxicity during combustion. It should be remembered that the material is hygroscopic and can absorb moisture from the air, which may affect its mechanical properties at high temperatures. The available outer diameter is 25 mm with an inner diameter of 21 mm. This ensures an optimal ratio of internal space to external dimensions of the conduit. The packaging method facilitates storage and prevents tangling after the coil has been started.
