Black halogen-free corrugated pipe, 320N resistance, (halogen-free conduit) RIL-PA6-HB-P with pull cord, 23x28, UV resistant /50m/ W3726
Halogen-free corrugated pipe for electrical installations
This black, halogen-free corrugated pipe, also known as a halogen-free conduit, is designed to protect cables in electrical installations where enhanced fire protection and minimal emission of toxic substances during combustion are required. Made of polyamide 6 (PA6), it features high resistance to mechanical and chemical damage. The version with a pull cord – steel wire – facilitates cable pulling over longer distances, significantly speeding up and simplifying installation work.
Properties and application
The pipe with a diameter of 23x28 mm can withstand a compressive load of up to 320 N. It is UV-resistant, allowing its use in areas exposed to sunlight (although this is not recommended as the primary application). The operating temperature range from -25°C to +120°C (momentarily up to +180°C) makes it suitable for use in harsh industrial conditions. The self-extinguishing material (HB class according to UL94) provides additional safety. Thanks to the absence of halogens in its composition, the pipe minimizes the emission of toxic gases in the event of a fire – important in public buildings and places with increased safety requirements.
These pipes are ideal for:
- Electrical installations in residential and industrial buildings.
- Places with increased fire protection requirements.
- Installations exposed to high temperatures and mechanical loads.
- Protection of cables against mechanical damage and external factors.
- Automotive, shipbuilding and aerospace industries.
Material characteristics and additional information
Polyamide 6 (PA6) used in the production of the pipe is characterized by high mechanical strength, abrasion resistance and good chemical resistance. The material is hygroscopic – it can absorb moisture from the air (up to 9%), which should be taken into account during storage and installation. High temperatures can reduce impact and bending resistance. The pipe is flexible/bendable, making it easier to route in complex installation paths. The way the coils are packaged prevents tangling after opening, which translates to ease of use and minimizes material waste.
