Corrugated protective conduit – protection and flexibility for electrical installations

The corrugated protective conduit RKLGF is a reliable solution for routing and protecting electrical cables in concealed installations. Its flexible construction, achieved through a special cross-section, makes it easy to lay in hard-to-reach places, allowing for future cable replacement without the need to chip walls. Low flow resistance ensures smooth cable pulling even over long distances. The product meets the requirements of Directive 2014/35/EU (LVD), guaranteeing safe use.

Properties and application

Made of polypropylene (PP), the conduit is characterized by high tensile strength, hardness and impact resistance. It has good temperature resistance in the range of -25°C to +110°C and is resistant to most chemicals. Thanks to its minimal water absorption, its dielectric properties remain stable even in humid environments. The conduit is flammable, but does not contain halogen.

The use of original raw materials translates into high resistance to crushing and impact, which is particularly important during installation and operation. The packaging is designed with convenience in mind – it facilitates storage and prevents the coil from tangling after it has been started.

Technical parameters and construction

The RKLGF conduit with a nominal diameter of 22 mm (outer diameter 22 mm, inner diameter 18 mm) has a compressive strength of 320 N. Its flexible construction makes it easy to adapt to the shape of the installation, and the lack of an inner coating minimizes resistance during cable pulling. It should be remembered that the conduit does not have UV resistance and should not be used in installations exposed to direct sunlight. In addition, the product spreads flame, so caution should be exercised during installation near sources of fire.
