Corrugated protective conduit – protection and flexibility for installations
The PESZEL RKLGF 29x36 corrugated protective conduit is a flexible solution designed to protect cables in electrical installations, both recessed and surface-mounted. Its construction, based on polypropylene (PP), ensures durability and resistance to mechanical damage, while the corrugated structure facilitates cable routing even in hard-to-reach places. This is an ideal solution for installers who value convenient installation and the possibility of later cable replacement without the need to interfere with the building structure. For the end user, this means a safe and durable electrical installation.
Properties and application
The PESZEL RKLGF conduit is characterized by high flexibility, allowing it to be adapted to complex cable routes. Low friction coefficient facilitates cable pulling over long distances, saving time and effort during installation. Compressive strength of 320 N provides protection against mechanical damage, and the operating temperature range from -25°C to +110°C guarantees reliable operation in various environmental conditions. The conduit complies with directive 2014/35/UE (LVD), confirming its safety of use.
- Versatile application: ideal for recessed and surface-mounted installations in residential, commercial and industrial buildings.
- Easy cable replacement: the flexible construction allows cables to be replaced without the need to chisel walls or floors – saving time and renovation costs.
- Protection against damage: compressive strength protects cables from crushing and other mechanical damage.
- Wide temperature range: can be used in various environmental conditions, both indoors and outdoors (with the proviso of no direct exposure to UV radiation).
- Safety: compliance with the LVD directive guarantees a high level of safety.
Material characteristics and additional information
The conduit is made of polypropylene (PP), a material characterized by high chemical resistance and good dielectric properties. Although the material is flammable, its properties provide adequate protection in the event of a fire. The IP40 degree of protection indicates protection against solid objects larger than 1 mm. The flexibility of the conduit allows for easy adaptation to the shape of the installation, and the smooth inner surface minimizes resistance during cable pulling. It should be remembered that there are limitations regarding the use of the conduit in places exposed to direct UV radiation and in a chemically aggressive environment (details in the technical documentation). The conduit does not have UR, CSA, LUL/british standard or Lloyd’s Register TA and UTAC certificates.
