Corrugated protective conduit – protection and flexibility in electrical installations

Corrugated protective conduit made of polypropylene (PP) is a reliable solution for protecting wires in electrical installations. Its flexible construction, achieved thanks to the corrugated surface, makes it easy to lay even in hard-to-reach places, allowing for future wire replacement without troublesome renovation work. Low flow resistance ensures smooth cable pulling over long distances. The product meets the requirements of directive 2014/35/EU (LVD), guaranteeing safety of use.

Properties and application

The conduit is characterized by high tensile strength, hardness and rigidity, as well as impact resistance (320 N). It is intended for concealed installations, where it provides effective protection of cables against mechanical damage. Thanks to the wide range of operating temperatures from -25°C to +110°C, it can be used in various environmental conditions. The IP40 degree of protection indicates basic protection against solid objects larger than 1mm. The flexibility of the conduit allows it to be used in applications requiring bending and adaptation to the shape of the installation.

The conduit is made of flammable material, but is distinguished by good resistance to many chemical compounds – both acids and bases, as well as solvents. However, it should be avoided in places exposed to direct UV radiation and in underground installations directly in the ground. It will work well in plasterboard walls and with electrical equipment and industrial machines.
