Construction and properties

BlackFlex Spectra-200 pipes are characterized by high antistatic surface properties, which minimizes dust accumulation during storage and operation. They also have high resistance to UV radiation, making them ideal for outdoor applications. The resistance to compression exceeds 500N, allowing for concrete encasement during construction work. The double-walled construction with closed air gaps effectively dampens noise and provides thermal insulation.

The inner wall of the pipe is made of an antibacterial and antifungal material containing silver, copper, and other natural microbiologically active compounds. This provides long-lasting protection against the development of microorganisms without the risk of migration of active substances. The smooth inner surface minimizes air flow resistance, reducing energy consumption by the ventilation system and facilitating possible cleaning. Additionally, the inner wall has antistatic properties that limit dust settling.

Application and compliance with standards

BlackFlex Spectra-200 ducts are extremely flexible, making them easy to install and adapt to complex installations. They can be freely bent on small radii without the need for additional fittings. According to the Regulation of the Minister of Infrastructure, these ducts should be used in single-family buildings that are not subject to strict fire reaction requirements (fire reaction class D-s2, d2). They are approved for contact with food.

The nominal diameter is 63 mm, and the resistance to compression exceeds 500 N. The fire reaction class is D-s2, d2 (PN-EN 13501-1). The material is modified polyethylene (HDPE-mod.). The outer layer is black and is characterized by high impact resistance, mechanical resistance, and UV stabilization. The inner layer is transparent and has antibacterial, antifungal, and antistatic properties.

Available pipe diameters allow for optimal selection to meet the specific needs of the ventilation system. The pipe ends are factory sealed, and the entire coil is packed in protective foil to prevent contamination during transport and storage.
