70l Baufix 100 tank - with a lid equipped with a sub-floor drainage inlet + accessories, single-pump system JP47214
Solution for wastewater discharge from rooms below the backflow level
The Baufix 100 underground tank is a dedicated device for the gravity and pumped discharge of wastewater from laundries, bathrooms, kitchens, or basements located below the backflow level in the sewage system. Thanks to its design, it allows for the avoidance of costly construction work, such as deep excavations or rerouting existing sewage lines. The device is mounted directly into the foundation concrete or floor, making it an ideal choice for modernizing existing buildings or in new investments where space is limited.
It is worth noting that this model is intended exclusively for wastewater without fecal matter. It must not be used as a tank for collecting waste from toilets or urinals. The tank is made of durable plastic (PE), which is characterized by resistance to pressure and corrosion, guaranteeing a long service life even in difficult underground conditions. Its compact dimensions – height 698 mm with a width and depth of 555 mm – allow for easy installation in areas with limited accessibility, and the 70-liter capacity provides buffering for larger amounts of water before it is pumped out.
Installation flexibility and adaptation to soil conditions
A key advantage of this system is the possibility of its application also in the groundwater zone. In such a case, it is necessary to purchase and install an additional waterproof seal (available as an accessory), which protects the tank against external flooding. The design provides for easy connection to the sewage system thanks to two inlets with a diameter of DN 100 and a dedicated DN 70 ventilation connection. For pumping out wastewater, a DN 32 pressure connection is used, which is equipped with a factory-installed check valve. This prevents wastewater from the sewage network from flowing back into the tank after the pump stops.
For installers, it is also important that the tank features a ready-made pump mounting system and flexible connections, which significantly accelerates the installation process. The frame covering the tank can be freely adjusted to the floor level – it allows for height adjustment of up to 100 mm, facilitating perfect alignment with tiles or the concrete floor. The cover also contains a sewage inlet equipped with an odor trap, which effectively blocks unpleasant odors from passing from the channel into the building interior. In case of service or pump replacement, this system enables quick access to the device without the need to dismantle the entire floor structure.
Application and pump compatibility
The device is designed to work with a wide spectrum of Jung Pumpen sludge pumps (U3KS, U5KS, U6K ES/DS series, and larger US models). This allows the user to select the pump power and capacity exactly to their needs – whether for a single washing machine in a basement or for an entire set of sanitary appliances in an underground bathroom. For pumps from smaller series, there is the option to purchase a rail system (gleitrohrsystem), which facilitates the removal of the service device without the need to enter the wet tank.
Standard equipment includes a 70-liter polyethylene tank and a cover with an adjustable leveling frame and a sewage inlet with an odor trap. The system is delivered with two DN 100 inlets intended for gravity wastewater inflow and one DN 32 pressure outlet equipped with a check valve. A DN 70 ventilation connection is also essential for the correct operation of the hydraulic system. An inflatable sleeve gasket is included for installation, allowing for a tight connection of the tank to the concrete structure, as well as pump mounting elements.
Installation requires adherence to safety principles – installation work and the initial startup should be carried out by a qualified installer in accordance with applicable construction and sanitary standards (including EN 12050). Thanks to its versatility and ease of operation, Baufix 100 provides a reliable solution for any home or utility building where traditional gravity sewage is not possible due to technical or economic reasons.
