Cat. 6 cable allows data transmission at frequencies up to 250 MHz and a binary data rate of over 1 Gb/s. It can be used in IEEE 802.3 (10Base-T, 100Base-T, 1000Base-T), IEEE 802.5 (16MB), ISDN, TPDDI and ATM networks. It meets the requirements of ISO/IEC 11801, EN 50173 and EIA/TIA 568-B.2 standards, which guarantees its compatibility with most network devices available on the market. It is ideal for connections between signal distribution points and user outlets, as well as in alarm systems and CCTV monitoring.

Construction and parameters for professional installation

The cable is characterized by a diameter of copper wires of 0.51 mm and an outer cable diameter of 6 mm. Polyethylene insulation provides good protection against mechanical damage, and the outer PVC coating increases its durability. The cable is easy to install thanks to its flexible construction and a minimum bending radius of ≥25 mm during installation and ≥50 mm during use. The cable operates at a temperature of -20°C to +75°C (installation from 4°C to +50°C), making it suitable for indoor use. The wave impedance is 100 Ohm – the standard for Category 6 cables. Thanks to the twisted construction with full color wires and a white wire with a color ring, identification of individual pairs is simple and intuitive during installation.
