HTKSHekw FE180/PH120/E90 Cable – Safety and Reliability in Critical Installations

This halogen-free cable is designed for use in alarm, signaling, teletransmission systems, and sound warning systems (DSO). It is also suitable for industrial electronics and automation installations, especially where high fire resistance is required. The HTKSHekw cable is designed for facilities with stringent fire protection requirements, such as fire alarm and fire automation systems.

Construction and Properties

The cable features a construction with single-wire copper conductors, protected by a foil screen. This solution provides effective protection against electromagnetic interference. The use of halogen-free materials guarantees that the cable does not release toxic gases or dense smoke during combustion – which is crucial for user safety in the event of a fire.

Using the HTKSHekw cable allows maintaining the functionality of the installation for up to 120 minutes in fire conditions (PH120), and the cable insulation remains durable for 180 minutes (FE180). It meets the requirements of DIN 4102 part 12 and can be used in cable routes E90 as part of a cable assembly E90, mounted on holders every 30 or 60 cm.

Technical Specifications and Application

The cable has a conductor cross-section of 1.4 mm² and consists of two conductors. It is intended for permanent connection of devices, and its temperature resistance allows laying in sprinkler-protected rooms and inside buildings. The rated voltage of the cable is 1500 V AC and 2250 V DC.
