Fire-resistant power cable NKGsżo FE180/PH90 3x1.5 0.6/1kV B62228
Fire-resistant power cable – safety and continuity of power supply
This halogen-free power cable NKGsżo FE180/PH90 is designed for installations requiring a high level of fire safety. Designed to operate at temperatures up to 90°C, it provides reliable power even in extreme conditions. The cable maintains functionality for 90 minutes in the event of a fire (PH90 class, compliant with PN-EN50200), which is crucial for fire protection, alarm and evacuation systems. Made of copper, with a cross-section of 1.5 mm², it is ideal for installations with a voltage of 0.6/1 kV.
Construction and application
The NKGsżo FE180/PH90 cable is a three-core cable (3x1.5 mm²) intended for use in fixed electrical installations. Its construction minimizes the emission of toxic gases and smoke in the event of a fire – this is particularly important in public buildings, industrial facilities and anywhere where high safety standards are required. Thanks to its low flammability (low calorific value), it limits the spread of fire. The orange jacket makes it easy to identify the cable in the installation.
Key features and benefits
- Fire resistance: Ensures circuit continuity for 90 minutes in fire conditions (PH90), which is compliant with PN-EN50200. This is crucial for maintaining the operation of safety systems during evacuation.
- Halogen-free: Minimizes the emission of toxic gases during combustion, increasing the safety of people and equipment.
- Copper conductors: Guarantee good electrical conductivity and reliable connections.
- Wide temperature range: Allows operation at temperatures from -30°C to +90°C (fixed installation) and from -5°C to +50°C during installation.
- Flexibility: Minimum bending radius for multi-core cables is 12 x cable diameter, making installation easier even in tight spaces.
- Compliance with standards: Meets the requirements of PN-EN 60332-1 and PN-EN 60332-3 standards regarding fire resistance.
- Low calorific value: Limits the spread of fire in the event of ignition.
