Product features
Fire-resistant power cable – safety and reliability of installation
This four-core power cable NKGsżo FE180/PH90 is designed for applications requiring a high level of fire safety. Made of copper, this cable is intended for use in circuits with a voltage of 0.6/1kV and ensures continuous power supply even in extreme conditions. Its construction guarantees maintaining electrical functions for 90 minutes (PH90) in the event of a fire, in accordance with the PN-EN50200 standard.
### Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a solid construction, using ceramic silicone rubber HXI1 insulation, providing high thermal resistance. Copper cores are available in solid wire (class 1) or stranded wire (class 2) versions, in accordance with PN-EN 60228 and IEC 60228 standards. This makes the cable flexible and easy to install, while also being resistant to mechanical damage. The cable jacket is orange, making it easier to identify in the installation.
It is worth noting the permissible temperature of the working cores of 90°C and the temperature during a short circuit – as high as 250°C. The voltage test at 4kV confirms its high quality and reliability. The minimum bending radius for single-core cables is 15 x the cable diameter, and for multi-core cables – 12 x the cable diameter, making it easier to route cables even in tight spaces. Conductor resistance meets the requirements of PN-EN 60288 class 1 and 2 and IEC 60288 class 1 and 2.
### Application
The NKGsżo FE180/PH90 cable is primarily used in fire safety installations, where high fire resistance and continuous power supply in critical situations are required. It is ideal for public buildings, industrial facilities, data centers and anywhere reliable operation of the electrical installation is crucial for the safety of people and property. This is a particularly recommended solution for applications requiring maintaining function for a specified time during a fire – PH90 class guarantees maintaining the circuit for at least 90 minutes.
