Coaxial cable H-155 LF0321
Coaxial cable – a reliable choice for RF installations
The H-155 coaxial cable is a high-quality coaxial cable designed for a wide range of applications in radio, television and telecommunications systems. It will work well in both professional and amateur installations, providing stable signal transmission. The cable construction is designed for durability and resistance to interference.
Construction and characteristics
The H-155 cable is characterized by a wave impedance of 50 Ohm, making it ideal for working with various RF devices. It is made of high-quality materials – the inner conductor is a stranded copper braid (19x0.28 mm), which ensures flexibility and good conductivity. The foamed polyethylene insulation (Φinsulation ext. 3.9 ± 0.15 mm) minimizes signal loss. In addition, shielding in the form of an aluminum tape with PET and a braid of CuSn wires (braid density ≥ 80%) effectively protects against electromagnetic interference. The whole is surrounded by a black polyethylene coating (Φext. 5.5 ± 0.2mm), which provides resistance to weather conditions and mechanical damage.
It is worth noting the approximate weight of the cable – 36 kg/km – which indicates a solid construction and materials used. The cable meets the requirements of the ZN-MADEX-11 standard.
Applications and electrical parameters
The H-155 cable finds application in many areas:
- SAT systems (satellite television)
- CATV installations (cable television)
- Industrial television (TVP)
- CB radio (Citizens Band)
- CS radio (Club Station)
- CT radio (Commercial Telecommunications)
The key electrical parameters of the H-155 cable include an impedance of 50 ± 2 Ohm and a capacitance of 82 ± 2 pF/m. The DC resistance of the inner conductor is 15 Ohm/km, and of the outer conductor – 32 Ohm/km. The attenuation at different frequencies is as follows: at 50 MHz it is 6.5 dB/100m, at 100 MHz – 9.3 dB/100m, at 200 MHz – 13.1 dB/100m, at 500 MHz – 16.6 dB/100m, at 800 MHz – 21.6 dB/100m, at 1000 MHz – 30.9 dB/100m, at 1750 MHz – 42.3 dB/100m, at 2000 MHz – 45.2 dB/100m and at 2400 MHz – 49.6 dB/100m.
The operating temperature of the cable is in the range of -40°C to +80°C and the minimum bending radius is 35 mm. The shielding effectiveness is as high as 81dB.
