Installation cable – reliability and safety in every circuit

This blue H07V-K (LGY) installation cable with a cross-section of 50 mm² is a solid choice for both professional installers and end users. Made of copper, with insulation and an outer coating of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), it ensures safe and durable electrical power transmission. The cable is supplied on a drum, which facilitates its storage and unwinding during installation.

Construction and parameters for demanding applications

The cable is characterized by a flexible, stranded wire construction (class 5), which makes it easy to route even in tight spaces and provides resistance to vibration. Its wire diameter is 9 mm, and the approximate outer diameter is 11.8 mm. The cable is designed to operate in a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +50°C after installation (and from -15°C to +50°C during installation), making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications (although it is not intended for underground installations). It is important to remember the minimum bending radius of 59 mm to avoid damage to the wires.

The H07V-K (LGY) cable has a fire reaction class of Eca according to EN 13501-6, which provides a basic level of fire protection. It is also flame retardant according to IEC 60332-1-2. The wire resistance at 20°C is 0.386 Ohm/km, which allows for efficient power transmission over longer distances. The cable has wire identification according to HD 308 S2 and color identification – blue – which facilitates correct connection in the electrical installation. It is intended for permanent installation in pipes on plaster and under plaster, as well as in cable ducts, wherever multiple bending is required and for movable and vibration-prone connections.
