Fire-resistant power cable (N)HXH-O FE180/E90 is designed for installations requiring enhanced fire safety. Manufactured in accordance with IEC standards, it ensures function maintenance for 90 minutes at temperatures up to 90°C, enabling its use in emergency power systems and emergency lighting.

Construction and materials

The cable core consists of class 2 copper (stranded) with a cross-section of 95 mm². The insulation made of polyolefin materials guarantees thermal resistance up to 90°C and stability of electrical parameters in temperatures from -40°C to +70°C.

The outer polyethylene (PE) sheath is characterized by:

• Halogen-free according to IEC 60754-1 and IEC 60754-2 - no emission of toxic gases during combustion
• Low smoke emission according to IEC 61034-2 - minimization of smoke density in fire conditions

The round geometry of the cable with an outer diameter of 18.6 mm and a minimum bending radius of 279 mm allows for installation in various cable routes.

Operating parameters and safety

The power system operates at a rated voltage of U0/U = 0.6/1 kV, ensuring compatibility with standard power installations. The conductor resistance at 20°C is 0.193 Ω/km, guaranteeing minimal transmission losses under high loads.
