This two-core fire-resistant cable HDGs 2x2.5 mm² is designed to provide reliable power in emergency and fire situations. Made with stranded copper conductors, insulated with silicone rubber and surrounded by a halogen-free coating, it guarantees safety and continuous operation in critical circuits. This cable is ideal for installation in places where high fire resistance and functionality during a fire are required.

Construction and properties

The HDGs cable features an advanced construction, providing its unique properties. Copper conductors with a cross-section of 2.5 mm² ensure adequate conductivity, and the special silicone insulation maintains flexibility even at extreme temperatures – from -30°C to +90°C. The halogen-free coating minimizes the emission of toxic gases during combustion, increasing the safety of users and the environment. The cable has been tested for insulation durability under direct flame exposure for 180 minutes (FE180) and the ability to function properly during a fire for at least 90 minutes (E90). Additionally, the cable screen provides protection against electromagnetic interference.
