The external PVC sewage pipe with a diameter of 250 mm and a length of 2000 mm is a key element of drainage and gravity sewerage systems. Made of unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U) in the SN8 ring stiffness class, it ensures high mechanical strength while maintaining a relatively low mass - weighing only 19.97 kg.
Construction and materials
The pipe features a solid wall construction with a thickness of 7.3 mm, which guarantees a uniform structure throughout the cross-section. The PVC-U material exhibits high chemical resistance to sewage with pH values ranging from 2 (acid) to 12 (alkaline), making it resistant to corrosion caused by municipal sewage, rainwater, surface water, and groundwater.
The system is resistant to a maximum continuous sewage temperature above +40°C to +60°C, depending on the diameter, wall thickness, and installation method. The smooth internal and external surfaces of the pipe prevent sediment buildup, reduce hydraulic flow resistance, and eliminate the risk of pipe clogging.
Application and compatibility
The product is used in underground non-pressure drainage and sewerage laid in the ground within the road strip - both under and outside the roadway. It is also effective in other areas used for transport engineering purposes, when creating protective covers for other pipelines, and for crossings through road embankments.
Its application in the drainage of bridge structures built on road routes is particularly important. The pipes can be used in mining damage areas - however, appropriate conditions must be maintained: for stiffness class >SN8 for mining damage categories I to IV, and for class >SN4 for categories I to III.
Connection system, tightness, and certificates
It is equipped with a LOCK type K-U21 seal, which ensures the full tightness of the sewerage system both in terms of sewage exfiltration into the ground (environmental protection) and groundwater infiltration into the channels (economical construction and operation of wastewater treatment plants).
Pipe sockets can be standard or extended - the latter are specifically intended for use in mining damage areas. The design of LOCK type seals prevents them from sliding out of the socket groove during connection and is characterized by increased tightness under both positive and negative pressure.
The PVC-U sewerage pipe system meets the requirements of the following standards:

The product holds the Technical Approval AT-15-7558/2012 issued by the Building Research Institute in Warsaw for KACZMAREK PVC-U solid-wall pipes and fittings for non-pressure external sewerage networks.
