External drainage pipe K2-KAN – strength and lightness in one

External drainage pipe K2-KAN DN/ID 150x3000 SN16 is a two-layer, socketed element of a pressureless drainage system and rainwater drainage. Made of polypropylene (PP) with a ring stiffness class of SN16, it provides durability and resistance to loads. Thanks to its corrugated construction, the pipe is much lighter than traditional solutions – even several times lighter compared to stoneware or concrete pipes. This makes transport and installation easier, reducing costs associated with installation work.

The pipe has a socket and gasket, which guarantees a tight connection with other elements of the K2-KAN system. The orange color makes it easier to identify the pipe during service and maintenance work. The K2-Kan system is designed for pressureless operation, but exhibits high resistance to short-term water pressure up to 2.5 bar, which increases its reliability.

Application and structural features

K2-KAN pipes are ideal for building gravity drainage networks and rainwater drainage systems. Thanks to its high ring stiffness (SN16), they can be used even under roads with high dynamic loads (SLW 60). The construction of the outer wall ensures the stability of the pipe when uneven point loads occur.

K2-KAN pipes meet the requirements of PN-EN 13476-3 and have a technical opinion from GIG Katowice dated June 30, 2008. They can be used in a wide range of operating temperatures typical of external drainage installations. The pipes are resistant to the effects of atmospheric factors and chemical substances commonly found in municipal sewage and rainwater.
