External drainage pipe K2-KAN – strength and lightness in one

K2-Kan pipe with a diameter of 150 mm and a length of 6 meters is a two-layer solution designed for the construction of external drainage systems and rainwater drainage. Made of polypropylene (PP) with a circumferential stiffness class SN8, it combines strength and ease of installation. The pipe construction, with a spigot and gasket at one end, ensures tightness and quick connection of elements. The orange color facilitates identification in the ground.

Construction and application

The K2-Kan system is distinguished by its unique two-layer construction – a smooth inner layer minimizes flow resistance, and the corrugated outer layer provides high stiffness and stability. This allows K2-Kan pipes to be used even under heavy loads, e.g. under roads (SLW 60). These pipes are lighter than traditional solutions – even several times lighter than stoneware or concrete pipes, which significantly facilitates transport and installation. The ability to operate under pressure up to 2.5 bar confirms their versatility.

National declarations of performance (DoP) are available for various types of K2-Kan pipes and fittings, confirming their quality and compliance with safety requirements. These pipes are also characterized by good resistance to local water pressure during high-pressure flushing (up to 120 bar).
