External drainage pipe PP K2-KAN – strength and lightness in one

External drainage pipe PP K2-KAN DN/OD 200x3000 SN8 is an element of a system designed for the construction of gravity drainage networks and rainwater drainage systems. Made of polypropylene (PP) with a ring stiffness class of SN8, it combines strength and low weight – it is 2-3 times lighter than pipes made of solid-walled plastics and as much as 15-20 times lighter than traditional stoneware or concrete pipes. This makes transport, installation and generally speeds up installation work.

The pipe has a corrugated socket connection, two-layer construction, which ensures its high stability and resistance to loads. The set includes a gasket, guaranteeing a tight connection. The orange color makes it easier to identify the pipe during installation and subsequent operation.

Application and structural features

The K2-Kan system is distinguished by its versatility. It can be used in gravity networks as well as for rainwater drainage. Importantly, this system exhibits high pressure resistance – long-term water pressure up to 2.5 bar does not negatively affect its durability. Thanks to its high ring stiffness, K2-Kan pipes can be used even under roads with high dynamic loads (SLW 60). The construction of the outer wall provides stability when local point loads occur – uneven loads are absorbed by the deformation of the outer wall.

The pipe is finished with a socket at one end and a gasket in the last groove at the other end, which simplifies the process of connecting system elements and ensures reliable connections.
