K2-KAN DN/ID 300x160 Reduction – Reliability and Durability

This K2-KAN reduction, made of polypropylene (PP), is used to connect K2-KAN spigotless pipes with an outer diameter of 300 mm to smooth pipes with an inner diameter of 160 mm. It is designed for the construction of external drainage systems, both gravity and for rainwater drainage. The characteristic orange color facilitates identification of the element within the system.

The reduction does not require the use of additional seals, which simplifies installation and minimizes the risk of leaks. Made of high-quality materials, it ensures long-lasting and trouble-free operation.

Strength and stability for demanding applications

The K2-Kan system, of which this reduction is a part, is characterized by high circumferential rigidity. This allows it to be safely used even under road loads up to SLW 60 – i.e. under roads with high traffic intensity. The design of the outer wall of K2-Kan pipes provides stability when local point loads occur, and its deformations compensate for uneven loads. Importantly, this system also tolerates long-term water pressure – up to 2.5 bar – without loss of durability.
