Gas pipe PE100-RC Titan – reliability and safety in one

Titan type 2/2 pipe, made of high-density polyethylene (PE100-RC), is a solid solution for building underground gas networks. The two-layer construction combined with the RC material (Resistance to Crack) provides increased resistance to stress cracking, allowing for installation without the need for additional sand backfill. Available in practical rods with a length of 12 meters, it facilitates transport and installation on the construction site.

Construction and application

Titan type 2/2 pipes are characterized by a nominal diameter of DN 200 and an outer diameter of 200 mm. SDR (Standard Dimension Ratio) at a level of 17 guarantees adequate mechanical strength while maintaining flexibility. The orange color of the pipe facilitates identification and minimizes the risk of damage during earthworks. Thanks to the use of PE-HD 100 RC material, the pipe is resistant to corrosion and atmospheric influences, which translates into a long service life of the installation. Designed for the transmission of gaseous fuels, they meet the requirements of PN-EN 12201-2 standards and have a positive opinion of ITB-KOT-2022/2318 issue 1.
