Gas pipe PE100-RC Titan – reliability and safety in one

Titan type 2/2 pipe, made of high-density polyethylene (PE100-RC), is a solid solution for building underground gas networks. It is characterized by increased resistance to stress cracking, which allows for installation without the need for sand bedding – saving time and costs during installation. Available in practical rods with a length of 12 meters, it facilitates transport and installation on larger objects. The orange color of the pipe ensures good visibility, which is particularly important during earthworks and subsequent operation.

Construction and application

The two-layer construction of the Titan type 2/2 pipe provides it with high strength and durability. PE-100 RC material (Resistance to Crack) is polyethylene with increased resistance to mechanical and chemical damage, which guarantees long-term and safe use. The pipe with a nominal diameter of DN 355 (outer diameter 355 mm) and an SDR of 17 is intended for the transmission of gaseous fuels in underground installations. SDR (Standard Dimension Ratio) is the ratio of the outer diameter of the pipe to the thickness of its wall – the lower the SDR value, the thicker the wall and the higher the pipe's resistance to internal pressure.
