Gas pipe PE100-RC – durability and safety in one

Tytan type 3 pipe is a solid solution for building underground gas pipelines. Made of high-density polyethylene (HD-PE100) of the special RC type, it is characterized by increased resistance to stress cracking. This means that the installation can be carried out without the need for costly and time-consuming sand backfill – which translates into savings in time and money.

The pipe is two-layered, which further increases its durability and resistance to mechanical damage. The outer protective layer made of polypropylene (PP) in yellow with green stripes not only protects the pipe from the effects of weather conditions but also makes it easier to identify in the ground. Available in practical rods with a length of 12 meters, it facilitates transport and assembly on the construction site.

Construction and application

Tytan type 3 pipes are intended for the transmission of gaseous fuels in underground installations. Thanks to the use of PE-100 RC material, these pipes meet high requirements for safety and reliability. The SDR11 ratio provides adequate mechanical strength while maintaining flexibility, which is important when working in variable ground conditions.
