Tytan type 3 pipe is a solid solution for constructing underground gas pipelines. Made of high-density polyethylene (HD-PE100) with special "RC" characteristics, it provides increased resistance to stress cracking, eliminating the need for costly and time-consuming sand backfilling during installation. This saves time and money for both the installer and the investor.

The pipe is characterized by a two-layer construction with an additional protective layer of polypropylene (PP), marked with yellow stripes on a green background. This layer protects against mechanical damage and the influence of atmospheric factors, extending the pipeline's lifespan. Thanks to this, the pipe is corrosion-resistant and ensures long-term, trouble-free operation.

Construction features and application

The Tytan type 3 pipe with a nominal diameter of DN 315 (outer diameter 315 mm, wall thickness 28.6 mm) and an SDR11 ratio is designed for the transmission of gaseous fuels. SDR (Standard Dimension Ratio) is the ratio of the pipe's outer diameter to its wall thickness – the lower the SDR value, the thicker the wall and the greater the pipe's resistance to internal pressure. An SDR value of 11 indicates high pipe strength, which is crucial for gas installations.

Available in practical lengths of 12 meters, it facilitates transport and assembly on the construction site. The black color of the pipe ensures good visibility during installation work and minimizes the impact of UV radiation on the material. The use of PE-100 RC material guarantees not only safety but also compliance with applicable standards and regulations for gas installations.
