Gas pipe PE100-RC – reliability and safety of installation

Tytan type 3 pipe is a two-layer high-density polyethylene (HD-PE100 RC) pipe designed for the transmission of gaseous fuels in underground pipelines. Made of RC material, characterized by increased resistance to stress cracking, allowing for installation without the need for sand bedding. An additional protective layer of polypropylene (PP) in yellow with green stripes ensures durability and resistance to mechanical damage. Available in rods with a length of 12 meters, it is ideal for implementing various gas projects.

Construction and properties

Tytan type 3 pipes are distinguished by a unique two-layer construction. The inner layer made of PE100-RC provides high tightness and chemical resistance, while the outer layer of PP protects against mechanical damage and weathering. The SDR 11 ratio indicates an appropriate wall thickness in relation to the nominal diameter, guaranteeing strength and safety of use. The black color of the pipe facilitates identification and differentiation from other underground installations.
