Robust steel pipe for demanding installations

Steel carbon steel pipe is a reliable choice for building heating, water and technological installations. Made of precise carbon steel RSt34-2 (1.0034 according to DIN EN 10305-3), it is characterized by high strength and resistance to loads. This makes it suitable for both industrial installations and residential buildings.

Construction and properties

The pipe has an outer diameter of 108 mm and a wall thickness of 2 mm, which provides it with adequate stiffness and load-bearing capacity. It is made using seamless technology, which eliminates the risk of weakening the structure at the weld and increases safety. The outer surface of the pipe is protected with a zinc layer (Fe/Zn88) with a thickness of 8-15 µm and a passivated chromium layer, which provides effective protection against corrosion. Thanks to this, the pipe can be used in various environmental conditions without the need for additional painting.

Steel pipes are supplied in lengths of 6 meters, which facilitates transport and installation. In addition, the inside of the pipes is protected with an oil coating during transport and storage, which protects against internal corrosion. The low thermal expansion of carbon steel means that installations made with these pipes are stable and resistant to deformation under temperature changes – particularly important in surface-mounted installations.
