Steel pipe connection to threaded fittings – no welding, no leaks

The half-coupling 54 G2 3/8" connects a 54 mm diameter pipe to equipment equipped with an internal G2 3/8" thread, such as a boiler, pump, or valve. Installation is performed using a press tool – no welding, open flame, or additional tools are required. The profile M crimped construction ensures a durable connection with the steel pipe while enabling quick and precise connection of the fitting.

Sealing that works – even under high pressure

Leak-tightness is ensured by two layers: a flat sealing surface and an EPDM (ethylene-propylene-diene) ring. This solution, known as LBP (Leak Before Pressure), allows detection of improper installation before the system is commissioned – if the seal is not properly compressed, minor leakage will occur. EPDM is resistant to temperatures up to +135 °C (temporarily up to 200 °C) and is not suitable for domestic hot water installations, but performs excellently in heating and process circuits.

Corrosion resistance – without compromise

The component is made of carbon steel St 34-2 (1.0034), with its surface coated with electro-galvanized Fe/Zn 88 and chromate passivation. The zinc layer has a thickness of 8–15 µm – sufficient to protect against moisture and corrosion in boiler rooms, basements, or garages. No additional painting or maintenance is required.
