Solid connection in installations – Kan-Therm Inox fitting

The Inox GW 1.4404 fitting is a reliable solution for creating durable and safe connections in heating, water and technological systems. Made of stainless steel 316L (1.4404), it guarantees corrosion resistance and long-term operation even in demanding conditions. Designed for pressing, it ensures tightness and ease of installation.

Construction and materials

The fitting combines a crimping sleeve and a tapered BSPT-Rc (ISO 7-1 / EN 10226-1) internal gas thread with a diameter of 1/2 inch (DN20). The stainless steel 316L used, characterized by its high molybdenum content, provides excellent resistance to crevice and pitting corrosion, which is particularly important in installations exposed to aggressive media. A seal made of ethylene-propylene-diene monomeric rubber (EDPM) further increases the tightness of the connection and its resistance to temperature changes.

Functionality and application

The Kan-Therm Inox fitting with LBP controlled leakage function minimizes the risk of leaks in the event of incorrect pressing, which translates into greater installation safety. Thanks to its design, it is ideal for connecting pipes with an outer diameter of 22 mm with elements having a 1/2 inch thread. It finds application in:
