Solid connection in installations – Kan-Therm Inox fitting

The Inox GW 1.4404 fitting is a reliable solution for creating durable and safe connections in heating, water and technological systems. Made of stainless steel 316L (1.4404), it guarantees corrosion resistance and long-term operation even in demanding conditions. Designed for pressing, it ensures tightness and ease of installation.

Design and application

The fitting has a crimping sleeve for connection to a pipe with an outer diameter of 28 mm and a conical BSPT-Rc (ISO 7-1 / EN 10226-1) internal gas thread with a diameter of 3/4 inch (20). This makes it ideal for connecting elements made of different materials, as well as for connecting fittings. Its simple form facilitates integration with the existing installation. The length of the fitting is 40 mm, and the connection lengths are 23.4 mm and 16.6 mm, respectively.

LBP function and safety

A key feature of this fitting is the controlled leakage LBP (Leak Before Press) function, which allows detection of an incorrectly made press connection even before the installation is put into use. The seal made of monomeric ethylene-propylene-diene rubber (EDPM) provides additional tightness and reliability. The fitting is designed to operate in a temperature range from -35°C to +135°C and a pressure of PN 16. The material of construction – stainless steel 316L – is characterized by high chemical resistance, making it ideal for use in industrial and sanitary installations.
