The GZ Steel connector is a reliable element of the KAN-therm Steel system, designed to create durable and safe connections in central heating, chilled water, industrial heat, and solar installations. Made of carbon steel with a galvanized surface, it provides corrosion resistance and long-term operation. Its construction based on a tapered BSPT-R (ISO 7-1 / EN 10226-1) external gas thread and a compression sleeve guarantees tightness and easy installation.

The connector with a nominal diameter of 1 inch (25 mm) is compatible with KAN-therm Steel steel pipes with a diameter of 28 mm. The simple construction facilitates integration with existing installations, and the possibility of pressing eliminates the need for welding or threading, reducing installation time and minimizing the risk of errors.

The KAN-therm Steel system is distinguished by fast and reliable installation thanks to the “Press” technology. This eliminates the need for open flame during installation, which is particularly important when modernizing existing heating systems. Additionally, all connectors are equipped with the LBP (Leak Before Press) function, which indicates an unpressed connection – this is an important protection against potential leaks and failures.

The use of high-quality sealing O-rings and a three-point “M” type clamping system ensures the reliability of connections even at pressures up to 25 bar and temperatures up to 200°C. Carbon steel designated as RSt 34-2 (material number 1.0034 according to DIN EN 10305-3) guarantees mechanical strength and resistance to damage.
