Steel fitting for system installations

GZ Steel - 35 R1 1/4" fitting is an element of the KAN-therm Steel installation system, designed for connecting steel pipes in heating, cooling, compressed air and industrial installations. Made of carbon steel with a galvanized coating (Fe/Zn88) with a thickness of 8-15 µm and an additional layer of chromium, it provides effective corrosion protection and long-term reliability. The fitting has a tapered BSPT-R (ISO 7-1 / EN 10226-1) external gas thread and a clamping sleeve, allowing for a tight and durable connection with pipes of the appropriate diameter.

Design and application

The fitting is designed to operate in a wide temperature range – from -35°C to 135°C (short-term up to 150°C) and pressures up to 16 bar. Its simple construction facilitates installation using Press technology, eliminating the need for welding or threading. In combination with an O-ring seal, it ensures tightness and minimizes the risk of leaks. The LBP (Leak Before Press) controlled leakage function further increases installation safety – an unpressed connection is leaky and easily identifiable during pressure tests.
