Stainless steel elbow for precise connections
This is a 90° elbow with an internal thread, made of stainless steel 316L, designed for KAN-therm Inox installation systems. This fitting combines durability, corrosion resistance and ease of installation thanks to the pressing technology. It is ideal for installations requiring high hygiene and reliability.
The elbow is compatible with pipes with a diameter of 15 mm (1/2 inch) and has a Rp1/2" thread. Its construction ensures smooth flow of the medium and minimizes pressure loss. The EPDM seal guarantees a leak-proof connection, and the LBP (Leak Before Press) controlled leakage function increases installation safety – it allows detection of an improperly pressed connection before the installation is put into use.
Construction and application
The elbow is made entirely of stainless steel 316L (1.4404), which ensures exceptional corrosion resistance, even in aggressive environments. This material is widely used in the food, pharmaceutical and drinking water industries. This makes the elbow an ideal solution for both domestic and industrial installations.

The elbow is characterized by compact dimensions: the total length is 40 mm, and the nominal connection diameter is 1/2 inch (15 mm). The length of the clamping connection is 43.5 mm, and the internal thread is 28.2 mm. The working lengths of the connections are 23.5 mm and 13.2 mm respectively, providing adequate contact surface during pressing. The arc angle is 90 degrees, allowing for precise routing of the installation at a right angle. The maximum continuous medium temperature is 135°C and the minimum is -35°C, making it a universal element in many applications.
