Stainless steel elbow for press-fitting systems

This is a 90° elbow with an external thread (male thread) made of stainless steel 1.4404, designed to create durable and tight connections in installations. The fitting is compatible with the KAN-therm Inox system, utilizing press-fitting technology, which ensures quick and reliable installation without the need for welding or threading.

The elbow with a diameter of 15 mm (1/2 inch) is ideal for installations requiring corrosion resistance and high hygiene.

Design and application

The elbow is designed to connect pipes at a 90-degree angle, allowing for a change in the flow direction. Made of high-quality stainless steel 316L (1.4404) ensures long-term reliability even in harsh operating conditions. An O-ring seal made of ethylene-propylene-diene monomer (EDPM) rubber further increases the tightness of the connection. Thanks to the controlled leakage function LBP, any leaks are easily detectable during pressure tests, which increases the safety of the installation.

The elbow is characterized by a compact design with a length of 42 mm. Connection 1 is a press fitting with an outer pipe diameter of 15 mm and lengths of 43 mm (total) and 23 mm (working). Connection 2 is a tapered BSPT-R (ISO 7-1 / EN 10226-1) gas external thread with a nominal diameter of 1/2 inch (15) and a working length of 30.5 mm. This design allows for easy connection with other installation elements of various designs.
