The GZ Inox fitting is a reliable solution for connecting elements of installations made of stainless steel. Made of high-quality stainless steel 316 L (1.4404), it provides long-lasting corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance, making it an ideal choice for both professional installers and demanding end users. Designed for press-fit connections, it guarantees tightness and safety of use.

Design and application

This specific model, with a nominal diameter of 1/2 inch (DN 15) and an outer diameter of connection pipe 1 of 18 mm, has a tapered BSPT-R (ISO 7-1 / EN 10226-1) external gas thread and a clamping sleeve. This makes it perfect for KAN-therm Inox systems, but can also be used in other installations requiring a reliable threaded connection. The fitting length is 62 mm, and the working lengths of the connections are 9 mm and 32.8 mm, respectively. The seal made of ethylene-propylene-diene monomer (EDPM) rubber further increases the tightness and durability of the connection.

LBP function and benefits for the installer

The fitting is equipped with the LBP (Leak Before Press) controlled leakage function, which allows for easy detection of an incorrectly made press-fit connection. This significantly facilitates the installer's work, minimizing the risk of leaks and the need to disassemble the entire installation section. The use of stainless steel 316 L ensures high chemical resistance, which is particularly important in installations exposed to contact with aggressive substances. Additionally, the ability to operate at temperatures from -35°C to +135°C expands the range of applications for this element. Pressure class PN 16 guarantees safe operation under standard working conditions.
