This is a press fitting made of stainless steel 1.4404, designed for creating installations in the KAN-therm Inox system. Its 45° angle allows for precise routing of pipelines, and the socket and push-fit connections ensure tightness and ease of installation. Design and application

The elbow is an integral part of the KAN-therm Inox system, dedicated to drinking water, utility water, industrial media, heating and cooling systems. Its construction based on stainless steel 316L (1.4404) provides resistance to corrosion and aggressive chemicals. The O-ring seal made of ethylene-propylene-diene monomer (EDPM) rubber further protects against leaks. With a nominal connection diameter of DN15 (and an outer pipe diameter of 18 mm), the elbow is compatible with a wide range of KAN-therm Inox system components.

Installation and properties

The 45° Stainless steel elbow fitting is designed for press connections, which means quick and secure installation without the need for welding or soldering. Connection length 1 is 32 mm, and connection length 2 is 38.5 mm – these dimensions should be taken into account when designing the installation. Working connection lengths are 12 mm and 18.5 mm respectively, which affects the depth to which the pipe is inserted into the elbow before pressing. The radius of curvature is 22 mm and the total length of the elbow is 65.5825 mm.
