Inox reducing nipple – a reliable connection in the KAN-therm system

The Inox reducing nipple 35/28 is an element of the KAN-therm Inox system, designed to connect pipes of different diameters in water supply, heating and technological installations. Made of high-quality austenitic stainless steel 1.4404 (316L), it ensures long-lasting reliability and corrosion resistance, even in harsh operating conditions. A key feature is the LBP controlled leakage function, which allows for early detection of any leaks in the system.

Design and application

The fitting is designed for press connections, which guarantees the tightness and durability of the connection. The simple construction facilitates assembly, and the precise workmanship ensures a perfect fit to the pipes of the KAN-therm Inox system. The reduction allows for a smooth transition between pipes with an outer diameter of 28 mm and 35 mm and nominal diameters of DN 25 and DN 32. The total length of the reduction is 69 mm, and the lengths of the individual connections are 31 mm and 38 mm, respectively. Thanks to the use of an O-ring seal made of EPDM rubber, the connection is resistant to temperature and pressure changes.
