Stainless steel pipe for KAN-therm Inox systems

Stainless steel pipe made of ferritic steel 1.4521, manufactured by KAN-therm, is an element of an installation system designed for internal heating, cooling, domestic hot water, fire hydrant and technological installations. It is characterized by precision of execution and has a longitudinal weld. Available in lengths of 6 meters, it is ideal for implementing various installation projects.

Material and construction

The pipe is made of ferritic stainless steel 1.4521 (AISI 444), which ensures its high corrosion resistance and durability. This steel contains molybdenum, which further enhances its anti-corrosion properties. The pipe wall thickness is 1.5 mm, and the outer diameter is 54 mm. The use of ferritic steel makes the pipe a good choice where corrosion resistance and no impact on the quality of drinking water are important - the nickel content in the alloy complies with EU Directive 98 and does not exceed the permissible level.

Application and compatibility

The KAN-therm Inox system offers a wide range of pipe and fitting diameters (from 15 to 168.3 mm), allowing for flexible adaptation to the needs of a specific installation. These pipes can be connected with plastic systems, which expands design possibilities. Thanks to the wide range of operating temperatures (from -35°C to 135°C) and resistance to high pressure (up to 16 bar), KAN-therm Inox pipes are reliable in various operating conditions. Installation is based on the pressing technique ("Press"), which ensures quick and secure connections without the need for open flame.
