PPSU ultraPRESS elbow – reliability and durability in every connection

This is a 90° elbow from the ultraPRESS series, made of high-quality PPSU (polyphenylene sulfone), designed to create durable and safe connections in plumbing and heating installations. This fitting, with a diameter of 16 mm, is ideal for KAN-therm Press systems, ensuring tightness and corrosion resistance. Its construction based on pressing technology guarantees quick and reliable installation, minimizing the risk of errors.

Functionality and application

The PPSU ultraPRESS elbow is used to change the direction of the installation at a 90-degree angle. It is compatible with both multilayer and solid pipes, making it a versatile element in many installation projects. It is used in installations:

• Hot and cold domestic water
• Central heating
• Underfloor heating
• Industrial installations (e.g. compressed air)

Thanks to the use of PPSU material, the elbow is characterized by high resistance to temperature and pressure, which translates into long-lasting and trouble-free operation of the installation. Additionally, the presence of an O-ring seal made of EPDM ensures a reliable seal of the connection.

Controlled Leak Before Press (LBP) and stainless steel – a guarantee of safety

A key feature of this elbow is the Leak Before Press (LBP) controlled leak function. This means that if the fitting is pressed incorrectly, a visible leak will occur during the pressure test, allowing for quick identification and repair of the error. The clamping rings made of stainless steel ensure corrosion resistance and long life of the connection. The diameter identification ring facilitates assembly and minimizes the risk of mistakes (diameters 50 and 63 are without a ring). The U and TH clamping profile further increases the connection certainty.
