Brass reduction coupling ultraPRESS - 32/16 1009046075
Brass ultraPRESS reducing connector – a reliable connection of different diameters
This brass reducing connector from the ultraPRESS series is a key element of water and heating installations, allowing connection of pipes with different diameters – in this case 32 mm to 16 mm. Made of high-quality brass (CW617N), it ensures durability and corrosion resistance, which translates to a long service life of the entire installation. It is designed for pressing with homogeneous and multilayer pipes, offering versatility and flexibility during installation.
Construction and application
The connector is characterized by a simple construction, which facilitates its installation. It has clamping sleeves on both sides, providing a tight and secure connection. Therefore, it works both in potable water installations (cold and hot) and central heating, as well as in cooling or process heat systems. The possibility of use in industrial installations further expands its scope of application.
- LBP function: The use of the controlled leakage LBP (Leak Before Press) function guarantees safety – any leaks are visible before the final crimping of the fitting, allowing for quick identification and repair of the error.
- Diameter identification ring: The diameter identification ring makes it easy to quickly recognize the size of the connector, which is particularly useful when working on large installations or with many connections. Please note that diameters 50 and 63 do not have a ring.
- EPDM O-ring seal: The use of an O-ring seal made of EPDM ensures excellent tightness and resistance to chemical agents and high temperatures.
- U and TH clamping profile: The molded part is crimped and compatible with U and TH clamping profiles, increasing its versatility and allowing it to be used with different crimping jaws.
- Material: Brass (CW617N) is a material known for its strength and corrosion resistance, ideal for use in water and heating systems.
- Application in building partition layers: The possibility of running installations in building partition layers, floors and under plaster increases the flexibility of interior design.
