The KAN-therm Press brass reducing connector ultraPRESS 50/32 is an element of the KAN-therm Press system, designed for connecting pipes of different diameters in water supply, heating and industrial installations. Made of high-quality brass (CW617N), it ensures durability and corrosion resistance, which is crucial for the trouble-free operation of the installation for many years. Its construction based on the pressing technology guarantees the tightness and strength of the connection, minimizing the risk of leaks.

Versatility of application and ease of installation

This reducing connector is compatible with both multilayer and solid polyethylene pipes, providing great freedom in the design and implementation of installations. Thanks to the TH clamping profile, installation is quick and easy – just press the steel ring with the appropriate tool. It is worth remembering that the TH profile is used for diameters 50 and 63 mm, and the U or C profile for the remaining diameters (depending on the KAN-therm ultraPRESS or KAN-therm ultraPRESS LBP connector). The EPDM O-ring seal provides additional protection against leaks.

Quality control and installation safety

The KAN-therm Press system, including the ultraPRESS reducing connector, is characterized by the LBP (Leak Before Press) controlled leakage function, which allows detection of an improperly pressed connection even before the installation is put into use. The diameter identification ring facilitates the correct selection of pressing tools (diameters 50 and 63 mm do not have a ring). All this translates into greater safety and reliability of the entire installation. This fitting is used in domestic hot and cold water installations, central heating and industrial systems – from compressed air to process heat.
