Brass reducing coupling ultraPRESS - 63/40 1009046007
Diameter reduction in KAN-therm ultraPRESS installations
This brass reducing connector from KAN-therm's ultraPRESS series is a key element for connecting pipes of different diameters in water and heating systems. It allows a transition from a 63 mm pipe to a 40 mm pipe, providing flexibility in designing and modifying installations. Made of brass (CW617N), it is characterized by high durability and corrosion resistance, guaranteeing long-term and trouble-free operation.
Pressing technology for reliability
The connector is designed for pressing, which means quick and secure installation without the need for welding or soldering. The TH clamping profile ensures a tight connection with homogeneous and multilayer pipes, and the presence of a stainless steel pressing ring further increases its strength. The LBP (Limited Back Pressure) controlled leakage function minimizes the risk of leaks, even with changes in installation pressure. It is worth remembering that diameters 50 and 63 mm do not have a ring identifying the diameter. The EPDM O-ring seal provides additional tightness and durability of the connection.
Application and benefits for installers and users
This reducing connector is used both in new installations and during the modernization of existing central heating systems as well as hot and cold water systems. It allows you to adapt existing pipe sections without having to replace them, which translates into saving time and costs. For installers, this means faster installation and a lower risk of errors, and for users – confidence in the reliable operation of the system for many years. Compatibility with the KAN-therm ultraPRESS system guarantees easy integration with other elements of this series.
