Steel compression fitting elbow

Construction and application

The elbow has a clamping sleeve and a push-in end, allowing for quick and secure installation using compression technology. The 90° bend makes it ideal for changing the direction of the pipeline. Thanks to precise workmanship and the materials used, the elbow ensures tightness and minimizes the risk of leaks. The fitting length is 193 mm, and the bend radius is 92 mm – these dimensions should be taken into account when designing the installation.

LBP function and benefits for the installer

A key feature of this elbow is the controlled leak function LBP (Leak Before Press). This means that if the fitting is not compressed, a visible leak will occur, allowing for easy identification of the error during installation and its immediate correction. This significantly facilitates the installer's work and increases confidence in the correct execution of the installation. Carbon steel RSt 34-2 (1.0034 according to DIN EN 10305-3) with a zinc coating provides high mechanical strength and corrosion resistance, particularly important in difficult operating conditions. The "Press" technology eliminates the need for welding or threading, reducing installation time and labor costs.
