Steel Sliding Coupling - 22

This is a key component of the KAN-therm Steel system, designed to create durable and leak-proof connections in steel installations. Made of carbon steel RSt 34-2, with a galvanized coating (Fe/Zn88) with a thickness of 8-15 µm, it provides corrosion resistance and long-term reliability. The sliding coupling allows connecting pipes of different diameters in the range of 12 to 108 mm, making it a versatile solution for installers.

Quick installation and safety

The "Press" technology used in the KAN-therm Steel system allows for quick and reliable connections using standard crimping tools. This eliminates the need for screwing or welding, reducing installation time and minimizing the risk of errors. Importantly, all KAN-therm Steel fittings are equipped with the LBP (Leak Before Press) function, which indicates un-crimped connections – they simply leak, making it easier to locate the problem during leak tests. This is particularly important when building extensive installations, where controlling each connection is crucial.

Application and design features

The Steel Sliding Coupling - 22 is used in internal, closed pressure installations, such as: central heating, chilled water installations, technological heat and solar installations. Thanks to the use of an O-ring seal, it ensures a leak-proof connection. The coupling's design allows it to be easily slid along the pipe during installation, making it easier to adapt to specific installation conditions. Mechanical strength and resistance to high pressure (up to 25 bar) and temperature (up to 200°C) guarantee long-term and trouble-free operation of the installation. The ability to use different types of O-rings (EPDM or FPM/Viton) allows adaptation to the specific requirements of the medium flowing through the installation.
